Threeskin was a massive success. We rocked da haus with our amazing haus music. It was really fun being able to create our own music from nothing on a computer program and it was very satisfying to see the end product. I would definitely do this again and I will continue to explore electronic music, even though i dont really like it that much.

Id3as for Int3gration

We want to incorporate real instruments into our electronic music. Today we contemplated ways to do this with the band and we decided that we could record different instruments and integrate them into our tracks.

For some reason, the program that we are currently using to make our dubstep songs won't allow us to save our work. This is a minor roadblock in our process but we will soon have it figured out!

The Dance

Peter and I were able to be DJs for a local dance, and played an awesome setlist full of the greatest electronic songs of our generation. Everyone had a great time, and we practiced mixing songs. The dance had a great turnout, and I just got another gig at the opening of a clothing store in Portland.

Fieldtrip the II

off to skrillex we go! Threeskin participated in the skrillex concert. It started with two fresh a group from north carolina, they made some cool hip hop beats. Next was 12th planet, which was amazing live. Then skrillex came on  with his skrill cell and blew my mind. it looked like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcM7HVbAl4A&feature=related, gave us lots of inspiration for making our tunes.

ThreeSkin Field Trip

We will be going to see Cyberoptics live on saturday in order to research for our project. We hope to learn from one of the best new electronic artists and gain inspiration for our EP. Threeskin is excited!!!

ThreeSkin's Discovery of Sub-Bass

Today we made our first sub-bass beat. We are working on our first track, and will have some of it completed today. With this partial completion comes the start of ThreeSkin's first EP album. The EP will be dubstep-oriented, but will most likely include some house/electro-house tracks as well.
